Clips are from today after he came back from the vets My poor baby :( On Monday we called the vets to have him checked because he had started coughing, just a few times, but we wanted him checked, they couldn't fit him in until Tuesday morning, they didn't want to come out to see him because they possibly wanted to scope him. He went to the vets, and they did decide to scope him (use a camera to look down his throat) and it didn't look good. The pockets on either side of his face were clear, but further down his throat was sore and gunky. They told us he possibly has Strangles. It could also be a respiritory infection, and there's a slim chance he could have COPD :'( They gave us 5 days worth of medicine sachets that he has twice a day, and he has 2 scoops of another medicine as well. He has to live out in his field 24/7 in isolation, until we fine out the results from his scope, hopefully on Friday. The horse who is stabled next to Toto also has the same thing, he was swabbed the day before Toto and went into isolation straightaway, we guess he somehow passed it on to Toto I don't know what to do with myself. When we came home from the yard I cried because leaving him there in his field was so hard, he was so restless because he didn't understand why he couldn't go in his stable. His stable needs all the bedding removed, disinfecting and then a whole new shavings bed put back in. I'm praying it's something mild that can be treated ...
